Leather Working Group Certification

• We source our leather exclusively from Leather Working Group (LWG) certified suppliers, ensuring adherence to ethical and environmentally responsible practices within the leather industry. LWG certification involves a comprehensive assessment of suppliers, evaluating key factors such as waste management, energy efficiency, water conservation, and chemical usage to promote sustainability. This policy applies to materials such as fine leathers (including exotic species), wild species, sheep, goats, bovine species, and calves.

The Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare

Dermis Design requires suppliers to follow the internationally recognized Five Freedoms, established by the UK Farm Animal Welfare Council in 1979:
